At Garden Spot Village, our Registered Nurse Supervisors provide leadership and oversight for nursing services, ensuring high-quality resident care, staff development, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for supervising certified nursing assistants, coordinating care plans, and supporting a safe and compassionate environment for all residents. What You’ll Do Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident information, including condition and family matters Counsel certified nursing assistants and recommend personnel actions to the Director of Nursing Service as necessary Observe and enforce infection control procedures related to nursing services Ensure the safety of residents under your care or supervision Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduled Work cooperatively with administration, nursing personnel, physicians, community agencies, residents, families, and consultants Maintain a clean, neat uniform and professional appearance Accept assigned duties cooperatively and assume accountability for responsibilities outlined in the employee handbook Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective actions as needed Conduct daily resident rounds and report nursing care status to the Director of Nursing Service and Administrator Supervise the implementation of nursing rehabilitation and restorative programs Assist with analysis of incident and accident investigation reports, determining causes and implementing corrective actions as appropriate Complete residents’ MDS assessments and care plans in a timely manner, with follow-up as needed Review newly admitted residents and compare physician orders with care plans to ensure accurate implementation Participate in the Quality Assessment and Assurance Program for the nursing department in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Committee Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania Experience supervising nursing staff preferred Knowledge of restorative nursing, long-term care, and infection control procedures Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills Commitment to customer service, teamwork, and professional development Must rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled May be required to work during emergency conditions (short staffing, severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.) May be asked to work overtime to ensure adequate staffing Additional Information As a FLEX (per diem) employee there is a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
  • Experience supervising nursing staff preferred
  • Knowledge of restorative nursing, long-term care, and infection control procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to customer service, teamwork, and professional development
  • Must rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled
