About the position

Our hospitals, care sites and clinicians are recognized for clinical and operational excellence. RNs could receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 with 1 year prior experience in specialty. New Grad RNs could receive a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. The primary function of this role is to deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient's problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care. The role also involves coordinating, providing, and directing patient teaching activities and coordinating the care provided by health team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Analyze assessment data and create a plan of care.
- Implement treatment and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and organization policies and procedures.
- Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments.
- Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department.
