About The Position

A Registered Nurse who through knowledge and ability utilizes the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes activities to meet the physical, psych-social, spiritual, cultural, educational and development needs.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of nursing process and customer service principles.
• Current CT RN licensure or in the process of obtaining the same.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Nice To Haves

• National certification in specialty preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• IV skill preferred.
• Secondary language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
• Meet the physical, psych-social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and developmental needs of patients.
• Provide skilled and compassionate care in a specialized, multi-level, inpatient unit.
