About The Position

Requirements

• RN NY State License.
• Minimum of 6 months of professional nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated expertise in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities (highly preferred, not required).
• BLS Certification (CPR & AED) (if don't have, will help you obtain).
• Open to an RN with a personal passion or experience for working with patients with developmental disabilities.
• Open to Psych center background.
• Helpful to have experience in ER, Fast-Paced, Triage, or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health information for all students.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform daily health assessments.
• Assist the Licensed Practical Nurse as needed.
• Provide necessary care during student injuries and record incidents.
• Instruct staff on health and safety procedures.
• Ensure the medical cabinet is stocked and administer inoculations.
• Monitor overall health and safety standards within the school.
