Clinical Care Operations (CCO) is the hub of patient management for the campus, providing relief staffing to our clinical departments. RNs in CCO are utilized to support the clinical needs of multiple departments, including ICU, Progressive Care, MedSurg, PACU, Medical Imaging, ED, and more. As an RN on the Resource Team, you will float to at least two areas of expertise within these service lines. You will have the opportunity to support both the South Campus and Tucson campus'. Several employee groups report into this department, including the Resource Team (RNs, NAs, PCAs, and HUCs), RN House Senior Managers, SWAT RNs, and non-clinical roles (Transport, Staffers, Dispatchers, Placement Reps, and Spiritual Care). POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
