As a Medical/Surgical Float you will provide patient care throughout the facility to include Med/Surg, PCU, Critical Care, ED, ICU and etc. You will also provide support as needed filling in as a sitter/companion and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). Clinical Care Operations is the hub of patient management for the campus, including: bed assignment, unit staffing (scheduling, balancing, casual labor utilization), house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), patient transports, dispatch, and data analysis. Several employee groups report to this department, including clinical positions such as RN House Senior Managers, SWAT RNs, and Resource Team (RNs, NAs, PCAs, HUCs, and BHTs) plus non-clinical roles such as Office Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Dispatchers, Placement Reps, and Information Specialists. Schedule: Full Time, Days; 3/12's from 7:00am-7:30pm. Weekend and holiday rotation required. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage.
