About The Position
The Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) at Bon Secours Mercy Health is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, which includes data collection, assessment, and evaluation of nursing care outcomes. The RN coordinates and directs patient teaching activities and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to create and implement a plan of care. This role involves administering medications safely, acting as a patient safety advocate, and managing nursing care within the operating room (OR). The RN also provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout the surgical process.
