About The Position

The Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Radiology Department. The RN supports radiology procedures performed in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Stress Testing, and Interventional exams, ensuring patients are prepared, monitored, and cared for throughout their visit. The RN collaborates closely with physicians, technologists, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Riverwood Healthcare Center.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or must obtain within two months of hire.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
  • Radiology nursing experience preferred.
  • Two years of critical care experience within the past five years preferred.
  • Completion of didactic training on PICC line insertion, including anatomy, infection prevention, and troubleshooting; or documentation of previous training and evidence of 10 PICC placements with successful outcomes.
