(HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing
and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact

Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered
Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians,
Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our
unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD),
Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and
Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal
ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This
role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment
focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing
behavioral health crises.

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of
critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a  degree from an
accredited nursing school.

Requirements

• current state RN license
• degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Crisis Intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
