About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Progressive Care unit at UK Chandler Hospital and Good Samaritan focuses on providing care for adult patients with trauma or acute surgical conditions. Requirements

• Active RN license, Temporary Work Permit (TWP), Provisional License, or active compact state RN license in good standing.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification for the Healthcare Provider valid for at least 6 months after employment date.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients with trauma or acute surgical conditions.

• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
