About The Position
Do you loveâ¯HEARTS?â¯Then this might be the right unit for you?⯠Our Progressive Cardiac Unit is a 23-bed Cardiac Pulmonary unit with unit- based & satellite monitoring capabilities.⯠Patients are transferred from either CICU, MICU, general medicine or from the ER.⯠PCU is dedicated to care for post MI, COPD, CHF, renal disease, R/O MI, and vent dependent patients; IV drips. Additional beds are designated for step down IMC patients. Our Progressive Cardiac Unit is a great place to learn where you can grow and expand your skill set and be empowered as a Registered Nurse to drive the care of your patients. Requirements
- RN license in Maryland or compact state
- CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
- AA degree in Nursing
- BSN obtain within 4 years of hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful
- One year RN experience is a plus!
