About The Position

Centurion Health Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support our clinical team at Metro Reentry in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for nurses with correctional, medical-surgical, or behavioral health experience who are seeking flexible, as-needed shifts.

Shift Requirements
Must be available for day or night shifts
Required to work 1–2 weekends per month
Holiday coverage required
Minimum of 2 shifts per month
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $45.00/hour
Shift Differential: $3.00/hour
Weekend Differential: Additional $1.00/hour

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience required
• Experience in one of the following- correctional, behavioral health, or acute care required
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient population in a correctional setting.
