About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at PAM Health is a PRN role focused on providing high-quality patient care in a flexible scheduling environment. Requirements

• Valid RN License in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
• Higher comfort level working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
• Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary and discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families about post-hospitalization care.
• Access community resources for patient support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
