Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care
About The Position
MaineHealth is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their busy Family Medicine outpatient practice in Scarborough, Maine. This is a triage position where you'll use your active listening skills to apply policies and protocols when assessing and treating patients over the phone. This position is Full Time within the Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm schedule (4-9hr shifts). If you're looking for an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team and use your RN clinical judgment skills to provide appropriate care and treatment to our patients, we'd love to hear from you. The Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- One year of RN experience required.
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
