About The Position

Columbia River Surgery Center is looking for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU to join the team! Columbia River Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. What You Will Do (Job Summary) : The Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Required Skills: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing Active RN license in Oregon BLS, ACLS, and PALS Experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit Strong communication skills, verbal and written Who We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI). Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in Oregon
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
