Our Preadmission Evaluation Unit offers support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide care for our patients preparing for procedures and surgery! DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Provides pre procedure screening, prepares the patient, family and significant other for his/her experience throughout the Perianesthesia Continuum for patients utilizing the Specialty Level I Trauma Operating Rooms, Outpatient Operating Rooms, and Anesthesia Remote sites. Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric, Inpatient and Outpatient
Requirements
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required, plus ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum 1-year RN experience required, including pediatric experience is preferred.
- AND/ASN required; BSN preferred.
