About The Position

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Surgical Assessment to join our team! Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
Current RN license in the state of Washington.
At least 1+ years of RN experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre-Op
Current BLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Current ACLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.
Current PALS- Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for all our ambulatory surgery patients
Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness
Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, setting them up for a smooth recovery
Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support
Monday-Friday work schedule!
