Get to Know Your Team: Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care. Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed. Supports the organization’s vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements
- Associates in nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of previous nursing experience.
