In the RN role you will be responsible for prepping patients for surgery by completing assessments, starting an IV, ensuring that consents and paperwork are completed, giving any preop medications as well as assisting with nerve blocks. You also will care for patients post anesthesia recovery in phase 1 and 2. Come join a cohesive team who works together to achieve the best patient outcomes possible each day. In this position you can expect to work 4-10 hour shifts alongside a busy post operative team as well as joining the on call rotation. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
