About The Position

The Professional Staff Nurse - Seasonal plans, delivers and evaluates nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the Director and/or designee. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 12 months
• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
• BLS
• Successful completion of GSMC medication test
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Successful completion of Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data and provides teaching and guidance to patient and/or family as well as staff members.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients and communicates to them their needs and assessments.
