About The Position
Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Silver Spring Territory, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) you will: Assessment, planning, intervention & evaluation of patient care in the home to achieve patient goals Documentation of patient care and outcomes (electronic if applicable) Delegation and supervision of tasks Home Health Aides and LPNs Serves as a support to new staff or students Participates in quality initiatives Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning Pursues professional development and growth Meets standards set by agency demonstrating flexibility, commitment and adaptability
Requirements
- Graduation from of an accredited nursing program
- 2 years full-time experience in acute care
- 1 year of Home Health experience required
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance that meets agency requirements
- Certification in specialty once qualified
Responsibilities
