About The Position
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. Assignment: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12hr Days, Must Float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum as needed 36hrs guaranteed Start Date: 4/6/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Pittsfield, MA Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays as needed Travel Policy: SYSTEM WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF THE FACILITY. address at profile upload. Patient Ratio 1:3 Beds: 3 8hrs non-billable orientation THIS IS A VERY, VERY SMALL UNIT. CALL-OUTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED (Call-outs will CLOSE this Unit and adversely affect patient care). PLEASE UPLOAD ONLY YOUR MOST DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE TRAVELERS! Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). VERY LITTLE RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR THIS SMALL UNIT. ONE HOLIDAY WILL BE APPROVED. 3 DAYS OR LESS, PLEASE! This is a small community hospital (it is not a pediatric intensive care unit). The census is 3. There is no second nurse scheduled for the unit. The maximum number of patients is 3. There is backup from Family Birthplace staff, and travelers have a security badge with a panic button to get immediate help. There are also respiratory and IV therapists who can cover the unit. Our experienced Pediatric nurses understand the unique needs of children and adolescents, and the importance of family involvement in their care. We provide "rooming in" for parents who wish to remain with their child during the hospital stay. To help make the visit more pleasant, we have on hand a variety of "in-room" games and videos, as well as a playroom for those with no contagious illness.
Requirements
- 3 years of current Peds experience is required
- ADULT MS EXPERIENCE is preferred (to Float)-Please note experience on profile.
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- Permanent address must be included in the profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need

- Active American Heart Association BLS is required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
- An active American Heart Association PALS is required
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)

- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
