About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Pediatric Float Pool role. The RN will provide high-quality care across multiple pediatric units, including support to behavioral health areas in a medical pediatric capacity (no psych responsibilities) .

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent acute care pediatric experience
• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center
• BLS Certification (required)
• EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• EPIC EMR experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric patient care in an acute care setting
• Float across multiple pediatric units and departments as needed
• Perform accurate patient assessments, planning, and interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Maintain proper documentation using EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
