Join our team as a Registered Nurse at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital! Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. We are proud to be the oldest academic children's hospital in Minnesota and the longest-running top-ranked children's hospital in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The Pediatric Med/Surg Float Pool RNs are able to float to the Pediatric Med/Surg units. The critical care RNs function in the role of charge flyer in which they serve as a resource for the entire pediatric hospital, making staffing recommendations, as well as are members of all emergency response teams, including code blue, rapid response team, and trauma activation team. This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours) every two weeks on the Night shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend. The RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool. Fairview offers a nurse residency program for eligible new graduate RNs taking this role with the organization!
