About The Position
Our Pediatric ICU provides evidence-based, family-centered care for critically ill children, ages birth to 18 years, with very high acuity and complex needs. We specialize in advanced therapies, including ECMO and CRRT, to support patients with life-threatening conditions. Our dedicated nursing team delivers exceptional care in partnership with families, ensuring safety, compassion, and excellence. We foster a collaborative culture focused on quality improvement, teamwork, and belonging—where every voice matters and every patient receives outstanding care As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. At Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a key part of our nationally recognized academic health system. Our 885-bed tertiary care hospital houses the region’s only children’s hospital, burn center, and Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1yr RN experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1yr pediatric and/or critical care experience preferred.
