About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department to provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires strong pediatric emergency experience, excellent triage skills, and the ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal orientation.

Requirements

• Current and active New York State RN license
• BLS certification (current or eligible for recertification)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric Emergency Department experience (within past 2 years)
• Majority of experience must be in Pediatric ED (Adult ED experience is a plus)
• Formal triage training with strong triage skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency nursing care to pediatric patients
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care using formal triage protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Provide compassionate, family-centered emergency care
