About The Position

Assesses patients' needs upon admission and utilizes the nursing process in providing responsible patient care. Documents all significant information on appropriate patient record. Communicates significant information and collaborates with teammates responsible for, or involved in, the care of the patient. Anticipates changing patient care needs and department situations. Resolves patient related problems within scope of responsibility. Participates in the facility's Performance Improvement program. Follows organizational policy and procedure and department protocols and serves as a resource for others. Demonstrates age-specific competency in clinical practice environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
  • License to practice as Registered Nurse or temporary Registered Nurse petitioner in the state of applicable state required
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required
  • Current successful completion of ACLS from AHA required
  • High-level of problem solving to identify solutions with human, technical, clinical or administrative problems

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
