About The Position

Could you be our next 3/4 Day Weekend PACU Nurse at Paoli Hospital? Working Three out of Four Weekends per Month as a Staff Nurse in PACU will offer you the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the 23 bed unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for the post-operative/PACU patient population. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status. Become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• One year of recent PACU, ICU, or ED Nurse experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the PACU unit.
• Provide care and treatment to post-operative patients.
• Engage in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees and Unit Councils.
• Participate in evidence-based research projects.
• Precept new staff and pursue the Clinical Ladder program.
