In September 2022, our surgery unit became a National Bariatric & Robotics Training Center for Lifepoint Health, averaging over 600 robotic cases yearly. Most commonly we perform bariatrics, general, urology and GYN procedures. We have 2 Da Vinci robots and are proud to have recently added a team of vascular surgeons, expanding our scope of practice. Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license
  • possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • BLS required
  • ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families.
  • Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
