As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the PACU Department through the nursing process of interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage. RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Reports to the Director of Surgery. Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in Sierra Vista, Arizona and is a 106 bed Joint Commission Accredited offering a number of specialty services. We are proud to serve our community with a Level III Trauma unit, Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement, Level I Nursery, American College of Radiology Accredited Facility, as well as many other state of the art services to ensure our patients are cared for.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
  • TNCC required within one year of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
