Get to Know Your Team: Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. S/He is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. S/He collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. S/He serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed. S/He supports the organization’s vision and mission. S/He utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. S/He contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

  • Associates in nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 2 years PACU/ICU experience preferred.
