About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, managing pain, and ensuring patient stability while collaborating closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active California RN License (Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Experience with conscious sedation, IV starts, telemetry, and ventilators
• Ability to care for both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Flexibility to float across units as needed
• Availability to work weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and assess vital signs
• Administer medications, including pain management and sedation
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and ensure patient safety
• Manage airway support, IV lines, and ventilators as needed
• Perform conscious sedation and initiate IV access
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
• Support a high volume of surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Float between pre-operative and PACU areas as required
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions
• Respond promptly to emergencies and clinical complications
