Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient
About The Position
Nebraska Surgery Center specializes in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Dental, Plastic and Cosmetic, Obstetrics and Gynecological, Neuro, and ENT. We are a looking for dynamic, dedicated, patient focused professionals to be a part of this exciting opportunity. The professional in this position is directly responsible for coordinating pre and post-operative care of the patient and provides post anesthesia nursing care (PACU) to ensure safety and comfort to patients recovering from anesthesia. Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Monday - Friday, Four, 10 hour shifts.
Requirements
- State of Nebraska RN license and CPR/BLS certification required at time of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous PACU experience preferred.
- ASPAN certification highly desirable.
