More about our team This role provides important care for out One Day Surgery patients. There is no call requirement and no weekend work requirement, creating enhanced work-life balance. How you’ll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Provides Pre-Operative Patient Teaching. Requirements
- Applicants must have a nursing degree from a nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
