About The Position

Inova Juniper Clinic is looking for a dedicated RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status, or insurance coverage. At any given time, Inova Juniper provides services to about 1,800 active clients. Work location: 600 Herndon Pkwy#200Herndon, VA 20170. Requirements

• Experience: 0 years of experience. Strongly prefer 1 or more years experience as RN.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-disciplinary team to provide holistic care to HIV+ and LGBTQ+ patients in an ambulatory care setting.
• Manage and support daily clinic operations, provide direct patient care, and complete required medical documentation.
• Foster supportive, ongoing relationships with patients to promote their ongoing engagement in care.
• Utilize strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Triages patient calls and requests.
• Takes on Resource duties and mentors LPNs.
