Requirements

  • Completion of required education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • RN with Texas Board of Nursing – OR – current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through AHA is required upon hire.
  • Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC certification is required upon hire.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in an Endoscopy setting.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Surgery setting.
  • Experience with patient safety best practices.

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care
