About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgical Services provides professional nursing care through the nursing process, meeting the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. The role requires compliance with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey
• American Heart Association BLS required
• American Heart Association ACLS required

Nice To Haves

• BSN or MSN graduates preferred
• National certification in area of specialty preferred
