About The Position

Join the Intraoperative Services Team (OR) at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital! This is a 36 hour/week position from 8:30am - 9:00pm On-call requirement - 1 day per week, 1 weekend per 5 week schedule. Rotating holiday requirement. Candidate Preferences: 2-3 years circulating experience preferred. Will consider OR Tech/Anesthesia Tech or Scrub Tech experience. Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
