The company is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Amarillo, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Patients' needs include Friday - Sunday, Day shifts, with flexible hours.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license (State or Compact)
- 1+ year of RN experience (clinical or home health)
- CPR certification
- TB test (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation
- Liability insurance
Responsibilities
- Follow physician-prescribed care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vitals
- Educate patients and families
- Collaborate with CNAs, HHAs, and Case Managers
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform various activities associated with daily living
