About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their After Hours Walk In Clinic in Bismarck, ND. This position is part-time and requires working evenings from 5:15pm to 8:30pm, as well as weekends and holidays from 9am to 1pm. The RN will provide care in various outpatient settings and during telehealth encounters, while the LPN will assist RNs and physicians in delivering direct patient care. Both roles require a current nursing license in North Dakota and specific educational qualifications.

Requirements

• For RN position: BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing school.
• For LPN position: LPN degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Current nursing license in the state of North Dakota upon hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to individuals, families, and communities.
• Assess primary concerns and identify problems using the nursing process.
• Make decisions and take actions to promote health and provide optimal care.
• Assist RNs and physicians in delivering direct patient care.
• Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
