Our specialties include Ortho, General, Podiatry, Neuro, Gyn, Urology, Bariatrics, Plastics, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Gender Affirming Surgery. We also have a DaVinci X and Xi that are used in our bariatric, general, gyn and urology service lines. The Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of quality nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in accordance with age-related and individual needs, physician's orders, hospital policy, standards of care and nursing practice. Responsible for assessing the needs of patients, planning nursing care to meet those needs, and ensuring that the plan of care is carried out and documented according to the principles defined in the nursing process.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in an operating room as a RN circulator or scrub, or completion of our OR Nursing Residency Program
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS

Responsibilities

  • Performs circulating duties for all specialties that may require surgical intervention
  • Adheres to relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse as well as organizational policies and procedures
  • Additional responsibilities include room turnover, patient transport, inventory management, equipment transfer, anesthesia assistance and precepting of other employees and assists with front desk functions as necessary
  • Must be able to meet the 30-minute callback time
