Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team, which includes surgical technologists, nursing assistants, schedulers, instrument technicians, and MDs. This position will serve an all-adult patient population. Schedule: This position will be working 72 hours every 2 weeks on the rotating evening shift. The schedule includes: 12-hour shifts, every weekend. As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for: The Operating Room RN demonstrates the ability to establish an environment of safety for the surgical patient. They should be able to assess, diagnose, implement, and evaluate treatments and procedures that contribute to the physiological stability of the surgical patient. They may also serve as a circulator or scrub during operative procedures.
