About The Position
Atrium Health Union OR is a 5 room Operating Room community hospital. We perform approximately 350 surgeries per month. We perform General surgery, Urology, Gynecology, General Surgery, Robotic General Surgery, Robotic Gynecology, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Dental and EENT. We support adult and pediatric patients. The team is a small, close-knit department serving the Union County/Anson area and upper SC community. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Atrium Health Union is a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous operating room experience strongly preferred
