Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room - Surgery
About The Position
The OR-Surgery Department has 10 OR's with service lines that include Ortho; Urology; OB/GYN; General Surgery; Plastics; ENT; Neuro and Podiatry. RN performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
- An Active Arizona RN License or Compact License required.
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
- Arterial Line Placement required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Acute Care Hospital setting.
