Requirements

• BSN from an accredited school or college of nursing. Teammates hired or transferred into this role before July 1, 2022 without a BSN are considered “grandfathered”, but must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• At least 2 years in operating room nursing or 4 years in operating room surgical technology or sterile processing. Demonstrated working knowledge of specialty being coordinated.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC.
• Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
• Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to provide patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Skill in preparing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in operating room nursing preferred (OR); certification in post-anesthesia nursing preferred (PACU)
