Requirements

• ADN required.
• Must be I.V. certified from an approved facility or must complete the requirements for I.V. certification during orientation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet system staffing needs.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must be in progress.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience required; Operating Room experience preferred.
• Will consider new graduates but will need to successfully complete a periop 101 course.

Responsibilities

• Participate in complex surgeries using the latest technology in state-of-the-art surgical suites.
• Advocate for patients undergoing anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary care team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the perioperative setting.
• Participate in shared clinical decision-making and provide inspirational leadership.
• Scrub and circulate in various services including vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, neuro/spine, robotics, thoracic, trauma, and general.
