About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the Central Staffing Office at Texas Health, providing clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. The role requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs, with a focus on working in at least three different entities per quarter. The work hours are generally full-time, consisting of 8-hour shifts from 0630 to 1500, with some opportunities for 12-hour shifts. The call requirement is three 12-hour shifts per 6-week schedule.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma required.
• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 5 years experience with three years in the last five years as a RN in area of specialty (OR) required.
• RN upon hire required.
• BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• CVOR, Orthopedics and Robotics experience highly preferred.
• Neuro, colo-rectal, GYN, Urology, Thoracic and vascular experience preferred.
