Requirements
- At least 2 years OR Experience
- Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
- Provides perioperative nursing care for surgical patients during night shift operation
- Requires experience in multi-specialty OR setting
- Ability to work independently during off-hours in a community hospital trauma setting
- Active BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
- Hep B
- MMR
- Varicella
- Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Responsibilities
- Circulating Duties
- Patient Assessment
- Coordination with surgical and anesthesia team
- Assisting the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient
- Accurately anticipates needs of surgical team by timely availability of needed supplies and equipment
- Ensures patient safety through the utilization of accurate assessment, critical thinking, expert evaluation and skillful clinical judgment
- Adherence to AORN standards and hospital policies
