About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulating Nurse position is full-time, benefits-eligible, requiring 36 hours per week in Department 37703 AMC Sheboygan County - Surgery. The schedule involves flexible 8/10 hour shifts, typically starting at 0645 and ending at 1515 or 1715, with potential adjustments based on surgery schedules. Call is mandatory, requiring a 30-minute response time, approximately 3 weekends per year (Friday 3 pm to Monday 0645), and 1-2 weekdays per month (1515-0645). Holiday call is also required, averaging one holiday every other year. The Sheboygan surgery department is a high-volume, fast-paced environment, handling 600-700 cases monthly, including major ortho, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, robotic general and total joint procedures, plastics, spine, GYN, podiatry, pain clinic, and ortho hand. The team is committed to mutual support, delivering high-quality surgical care, and achieving excellent patient experience scores and surgical outcomes within the Aurora system. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
