Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care environment.
Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA-approved).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
CNOR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for open-heart and cardiovascular surgical patients.
Circulate and assist in complex CVOR procedures, ensuring sterile field integrity and patient safety.
Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instrumentation and equipment efficiently.
Collaborate closely with anesthesia, surgical, and perfusion teams for optimal intraoperative care.
Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
Document all care and intraoperative events accurately and timely.
Participate in call rotation and provide emergency support for urgent cardiovascular procedures.
Maintain compliance with infection control standards and hospital protocols.
